TAMPA (FOX 13) -

A massive pile of paper went up in flames in Tampa.

The fire started around 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, in a pile of cardboard and paper, near the Rocktenn Recycling Corporation warehouse, on North 26th Street.

The flames spread quickly, destroying $150-thousand worth of recycled goods.

The fire did not reach any buildings.

Firefighters plan to work through the night putting out hotspots.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt.

Firefighters say the blaze was caused by spontaneous combustion.
