Be sure to come out for our Rough Rider Holiday Parade on Saturday 12/7! Parade starts at 11:00am. Don't forget to come out for the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday night...we will be collecting new (unused) Teddy Bears for the Rough Rider's Annual Teddy Bear.
Every year, the Rough Riders collect, sort, and distribute thousands of Teddy Bears to hospital patients, cancer survivors and their families, centers for abused women and children, community health centers, special needs day care centers, and foster children throughout Florida. The Rough Riders also support the Junior League, the Hillsborough County Family Court System, and the American Red Cross in their efforts to provide Teddy Bears to children in need. Tens of thousands of Teddy Bears have been collected and distributed during yearly Teddy Bear Runs and events.
