Relatives of a Lakeland woman are waiting for any scrap of information about one of their family members.
Jewel Mole, 68, said she was going shopping on Monday and has been missing ever since. Her car was found at the McDonald's on U.S. 98 North just off Interstate 4 Tuesday morning.
She was a long time Publix employee and a devoted churchgoer.
"If people were in trouble you could call her and she would make you feel like...an angel landed on your shoulder," Mole's sister-in-law, Joann Heaton, told FOX 13 on Wednesday.
Every day like clockwork, Mole would call relatives to make sure someone was able to pick up her young granddaughter at the bus stop. When she didn't call on Monday, they knew something was wrong and called the Polk Sheriff's Office.
"Anytime someone goes missing like this where they interrupt their normal pattern of activity, which is exactly what happened here, we are obviously very concerned, and we need to find her," said Polk Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Eleazer.
Mole is 5' 2", 150 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and an orange shirt.
If you have information about her whereabouts, call the Polk Sheriff's Office.
