NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) -

Three people, including two teenagers, are expected to survive after a scary crash in New Port Richey.

Photos taken at the scene showed a mangled truck and car on Decubellis Road just east of Starkey Boulevard. That's in the River Ridge neighborhood.

Troopers say two teenagers in a truck collided with a Toyota Corolla. Harrison Cobb, 26, was in the Corolla with a young child, who was fastened safely in a seat. Cobb was seriously injured; the child was OK.

The 19-year-old truck driver, Devin Pendergrass, also suffered serious injuries. His passenger, 17-year-old Kendra Vultao, suffered minor injuries.

They were all taken to the hospital. The child was placed into care of the family.

Troopers say Pendergrass has been charged with driving without a license. It appears the Corolla was making a turn onto Hillcrest Lane, when the teens slammed into the car.
