Authorities say one man is in custody after a cross-county chase that ended in Holiday.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office initially sent out reverse 911 calls and alerts saying authorities were looking for three armed suspects.
An hour later, deputies said they had one of them in custody, and they now believe he was the only one involved in Holiday.
Police now believe they may be looking for three additional suspects outside of Pasco County.
The situation started in Ybor City with Tampa police. Deputies say a series of robberies occurred in Ybor City. Officers chased the suspect, 21-year-old Patrick Punion, and the vehicle all the way up to Holiday.
The vehicle was ditched and the search covered the area of Summervale Drive and Gulf Trace Boulevard.
Deputies say Punion was hiding inside a home, and 23-year-old Charquisha Arline was keeping Punion safe.
Authorities said Arline lied to police and told them there was no one inside. They say she left Punion inside with her children.
Arline has been taken into custody, and the children are with their grandmother. Sheriff Chris Nocco said deputies have answered several calls to that home.
