Delta flight lands in Seattle after diversion

SEATTLE (AP) - A Seattle-bound Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta that made an emergency landing Monday night in Pasco, Wash., finally landed at about 6 a.m. Tuesday at Sea-Tac Airport.

FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer says Flight 2329 declared an emergency due to a fire warning light issue, and the Boeing 757 landed without incident at the Tri-Cities airport.

Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant says the crew followed safety procedures after a cargo hold temperature indication light was observed. There were 183 passengers on board. Another plane was dispatched to continue the flight to Sea-Tac.

Arriving passengers told KOMO (http://bit.ly/1deODN6 ) they were told the warning light was a false alarm.
