Actor Stephen Baldwin has paid another $100,000 toward his delinquent New York tax bill on Friday, authorities said. That leaves him more than $200,000 in arrears, the AP reported.

Baldwin, who starred in 1995's "The Usual Suspects," was arrested in December 2012. In March 2013, he admitted that he failed to pay state taxes for 2008, 2009 and 2010 and pleaded guilty to a felony charge. He also agreed to pay an additional $300,000 by the time of his sentencing in March 2014. His next court date is January 10 before Judge Apotheker.

The total bill in taxes, interest and penalties was $400,000, but he had paid $100,000 before entering his guilty plea. Baldwin appeared in Rockland County Court on Friday and presented a certified check to the Tax Department.

“I thank District Attorney Zugibe for his tireless work in prosecuting this case,” Tax Commissioner Thomas Mattox said in a statement. “It shows that, regardless of a person’s occupation or financial situation, all New Yorkers must meet their obligation to pay their fair share of income taxes in a timely manner.”

Under his plea agreement, Baldwin's record will be wiped clean if he pays the full amount by next March. If not, he faces five years of probation.

The 47-year-old Baldwin lives in Upper Grandview. His brothers Alec, William and Daniel are also actors.
