Diehard Tigers fan pumps up crowd with custom limo

DETROIT (WJBK) - The Detroit Tigers bats may be slumping, but one fan isn't worried one bit. He eat, breathes, sleeps and even drives Tigers baseball.

"I pump up crowds, I do everything," says Ryan Rodriguez, the driver of a 1987 Lincoln Towncar converted into one lean, mean Tigers machine. "I play music. I let the sirens go off, and it's overall a fun experience."

Rodriguez is a chauffeur for the infamous limo seen cruising around Comerica Park during every home game. So what's it like to drive this beast? You had better be photogenic.

"Pictures, pictures, pictures," says Rodriguez.

When he's not stopping for photos, Rodriguez is busy firing fans up as they head into Game 4 of ALCS Wednesday night. The Tigers trail the best-of-seven series two games to one. "I've never lost faith. I think they're playing around with Boston," says Rodriguez.
