The person wanted in connection with a double-murder in Brandon has turned himself in to deputies, but work continues to officially identify the victims.
Just before 4 p.m. Friday, deputies said, Charles Andre Martinez had walked into the Hillsborough County Courthouse and turned himself in, accompanied by his attorney.
Martinez, 24, had been named a person of interest in connection with the crime scene discovered Thursday at a Brandon townhome. Two women were found murdered inside a burned-out unit at the Carlisle Club Townhomes.
Martinez was already wanted on unrelated warrants. Deputies said he was being medically evaluated at a hospital but would later be taken to the Orient Road Jail.
"He has not yet been charged with the two homicides," an HCSO press release stated.
Meanwhile, one of the two murder victims was identified. Deputies say Lindsay Nicole Greene, 25, lived at the townhome where the crime occurred.
"Lindsay was a great girl, wonderful mother to Phillip, her 4-year-old," next-door neighbor Bud Smith told FOX 13. "Unfortunately, in recent months, I think she just got in with the wrong crowd."
The other woman's identity has not been released.
