TAMPA (FOX 13) -

She plays a mean game of rummy, and she hardly ever loses. Maybe it's luck, or maybe it's "Nana's" years of experience.

"She's going to be a 105 and a miracle that she's still here with us," said Catherine Broschart, whose mother is still as joyful as ever.

Catherine Steinberg was born Sept. 27, 1908. Today, amazingly, she turns 105 years old.

"She is the most amazing woman. She is the rock of our family," said Kathy L'ecuyer, her granddaughter.

"She's just remarkable," said Broschart, who is 80 years old herself. "There really isn't anything more you can say. She's just fabulous."

After raising three children and helping with 15 grandchildren -- plus 20 great grandchildren -- cards and TV are her favorite hobbies.

"Just one day at a time and you live it the best way you know how," Steinberg said of life these days.

She says her hearing and sight are going - but certainly not her laugh.

Even at almost 105 - she is still a mother, and still mothering.

"She still gives me advice, oh yeah," Boschart said.

And I guess, well, we should all listen to some of her wisdom.

"Living each day as it came and plan ahead for things to come," Steinberg advised.

She's no card shark - maybe more of lady luck - just enjoying the fortunate hand she's been dealt.
