Police Looking For 'Smash And Grab' Suspects

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Police are looking for the public's help to identify the three people who performed a "smash and grab" at a Game Stop store in East Germantown.

The trio entered the store around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday and appeared to be shopping. Suddenly, one of the suspects pulled out a hammer and smashed display glass, police say. The three men took an iPad, iTouch, and iPod Nano. The stolen items are valued at $3,200. The suspects then ran away towards Wister Avenue.

Police describe the suspects as thin-built black males in their late teens to early 20s, with goatees, wearing dark pants and hooded sweatshirts. One may be armed with a hammer.

The store surveillance video can be seen in the video clip above, or by clicking here.

If you see these suspects, call 9-1-1 immediately.
