Suncoast SPCA scrambles to fix flooded building

NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) -

A water main break at the Suncoast SPCA in New Port Richey has staff there scrambling to deal with extensive flooding damage.

Their main building suffered major damage after a water main break on Thursday.

No animals were hurt or lost, but just about everything else in the building was.

The food supply for needy families was wiped out, staff there only has one working computer, and many other pet and office supplies were lost.

Now, the shelter says they are in desperate need of help. They need donations to help with the costs of repairs, sanitizing and replacing walls and floors with water damage.

The shelter also wants to hear from anyone who can donate professional services for repairs.

Here is their website: http://spcasuncoast.org/
