DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Witnesses testify against Robert (Bob) Bashara Wednesday in court to determine if there's enough evidence to charge Bob for first-degree murder of his wife, Jane.

The key witnesses the judge heard from are Bob's daughter, Jessica Bashara, and his ex-girlfriend, Rachel Gillett.

Gillett testified she met Bob in 2008 on an alternative lifestyle web site, alt.com.

Gillett began to describe the couple's sexual relationship when the lights suddenly went out inside the courtroom. Everyone inside the court, including Fox 2 crews, was told to pack up and leave, but to use the stairs in doing so as the elevators were not functioning.
