If you've ever wanted to play the guitar like Jimi Hendrix or Bruce Springsteen, or wanted to learn to perform like a rock star, now you can.
A new studio has opened up at 3222 Bennett Street North, called the St. Petersburg Music Factory.
"Rock and roll is alive and well here," owner Phil Celli said.
Their motto is, "learn, play, rock!"
Instructors say within minutes of your first lesson, you will be strumming, beating, plucking, and picking away.
During our visit, we met Bill Weller, who was given guitar lessons as a birthday gift from his wife. Even though he is retired now, he said he had always wanted to learn to play.
"My wife, I think, basically, was tired of hearing me say, 'I should try that!' " Weller said.
After his first lesson, he'd already learned several chords and had plenty of practicing to do.
