Two Pasco County schools were put into lockdown while deputies searched for a reported gunman nearby.
Deputies say there was a report of a person with a rifle spotted near River Ridge High School and Middle School. Both schools were locked down, though most students have already left for the day.
The reported gunman was nearby but not on school grounds.
By 3:30, the lockdown had been partially lifted. Parents were being allowed to pick up the remaining students.
The all-clear came 30 minutes later. There was no word of any arrests.
