Woman escapes from caregivers

WINTER HAVEN (FOX 13) -

The Winter Haven Police Department is looking for a woman who they say escaped from caregivers Saturday night.

Thirty-six year old Belinda Sanchez ran away as she was being transported to the Winter Haven Hospital around 6:45 p.m.

Police say Sanchez suffers from several issues that requires medication, including severe depression. They fear she could harm herself. She was last seen where a black t-shirt with a white diamond design, and black shorts with a red stripe.

Anyone who sees Sanchez is asked to called Heartland CrimeStoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS or call 9-1-1.
