TAMPA (FOX 13) -

Troopers in Tampa are hoping someone saw the truck and crane combination that struck an I-275 overpass this morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a flatbed tractor-trailer was carrying an oversized crane in I-275's southbound outside lane.  At 9:22 a.m., the crane brushed the Kennedy Boulevard overpass as the truck passed underneath, but the truck driver did not stop and continued across the Howard Frankland.

The collision damaged the overpass and send pieces of concrete raining down on the highway.  A 56-year-old woman's car was badly damaged, but she was not hurt.

Now, troopers want to talk to the truck driver.  Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call FHP at 813-631-4020.

The outside lane of I-275 remains closed at the scene of the crash.
