If you have ever felt the need to fly like Superman high above the trees, now there's a place you can do that.
It's called Treeumph. They opened in January in Bradenton and have been packed all summer long. Treeumph is the brainchild of Canadian couple Aaron and Kathy Corr. The engineer and physical therapist took their love of the outdoors and turned it into a major adventure park.
You can zip line for sure, but there are plenty of other physical challenges, 76 in all, along five levels of difficulty, which will leave you breathless.
"People love these parks because they challenge their mind, they challenge their body, they're active, they're outdoors," said Aaron Corr. "Whether they're a family or part of a group, church group, corporate group, you bond in a way you never imagined because you're doing things that you absolutely never imagined you could do."
Treeumph is nine miles east of Interstate 75 along State Route 70. They also do nighttime canopy tours where flyers wear a light on their heads.
