Deputies in Polk County are looking for a truck in a hit-and-run crash that left a man in critical condition.
The sheriff's office says 48-year-old Eric Joseph Alexander of Haines City was struck by the car while riding his scooter Wednesday morning.
Alexander was thrown from his scooter, but the driver kept going.
Investigators say the car may be a beige or two-tone colored mid
2004-2007 Ford "F" series pickup truck.
The truck will have damage to the right front head light and possibly all the way to the middle of the front grill, the sheriff's office said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS.
