There's a lot more to Bucs tight end Tom Crabtree than what you see.
At first glance, he's well-covered in tattoos.
"There are some little stories, I guess," said Crabtree. "Really it's just a part of who I am, my personality. It's something that kind of built up or as my parents would say, 'got out of hand,' over the years."
Underneath all of the ink is talented player that's not had the opportunity to show who he is. An undrafted backup in Green Bay, Crabtree comes to this bay excited for a second impression.
"You know, hopefully they see that I'm a guy that shows," said Crabtree as his 2-year-old interrupts. "I'm a dad and I show up to work every day and bust my butt."
Crabtree does football and, according to his Twitter account, other stuff. That stuff starts with social media. This relatively unknown NFL athlete already has 90,000 followers -- that's because of his ton of tweets.
"It's a cool way to see people that I was interested in," explained Crabtree. "Musicians, actors, comedians, whoever. See what they were up to. It kind of grew from there and I just started goofing around on there. People seem to enjoy that."
A Super Bowl trophy is the highlight of his career, but does he have a super tweet?
"I don't know if I'm going to point out may best tweet," he laughed. "I don't know how you judge that. I'm proud of them all. They're all pretty good. I guess probably not all of them. I've had some bad ones."
While there may be some poor posts, Crabtree is showing the Bucs an inkling for the end zone.
