TAMPA (FOX 13) -

A University of Tampa student is accused of sending threatening messages to employees of a New Jersey College.

19-year-old Jared Eversmeyer was arrested in Burlington County, New Jersey.

He's charged with six counts of making terrorist threats.

Police say in April, he sent text messages to six employees of Burlington College's aquatic center. They say he warned them they had been targeted, should quit their jobs. He also allegedly told them he had all their names and addresses.

The school was partially shut down as a result.

Investigators traced the texts back to an i-p address at U-T where Eversmyer is a student.

He surrendered to police and has been charged with 19 counts of making a terrorist threat.

Eversmeyer is out of jail on 20-thousand dollars bond.
