32 year old Abraham Felmly was the person of interest in a double homicide/arson in Sacramento and a carjacking in Merced. But now, that person of interest turned up dead in a park in Huntington Park. It's a park that's frequented by homeless people, so when neighbors hear loud arguing Monday night, they assumed the homeless were responsible.
Now, they believe the loud arguing may have precipitated a possible murder suicide in Bartlett Park. Two men were found dead; a gun nearby. One of the men was identified as Felmly, the other is a white man, age 49. His last name is not Felmly. I mention that because in Sacramento Monday, arson investigators discovered two dead bodies inside a burned down house.
The men were named, Chelsly Felmly, Abraham's grandfather and Dennis Felmly, his uncle. Police hadn't named Abraham a suspect but wanted to talk to him after they found a car and a gun missing from the burned down house. Felmly later dumped that car and carjacked another one in Merced. The victim of the carjacking identified Felmly. Felmly was a parolee at large, convicted twice; most recently for domestic abuse.
Meantime, this twist, another Felmly in Texas claims he called Sacramento Police last week worried that Abraham was becoming dangerous and threatening. Daniel Felmly says his warning went unheeded.
