FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -

With Wal-Mart expecting to open its new Cascade location this fall, Fulton County's Housing and Human Services, Office of Workforce Development is now conducting onsite recruitment to help Wal-Mart hire at least 250 retail employees.

Job seekers can apply for the Cascade Wal-Mart positions by visiting the Wal-Mart employment website and looking for store 3741.

Applicants who do not have online access can visit the Adamsville Workforce Development Center and apply online with the assistance of Workforce Development and Wal-Mart staff. The center is located at 3700 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW.

Applicants can visit the Adamsville location Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.  It will take at least two hours to complete the online application process.

Citizens with experience in retail or would like to take advantage of customer service training in order to be considered for employment must register at the Adamsville Office.

Workforce Development will conduct background checks and drug tests of applicants. People who register will be required to participate in customer service training in order to receive a recommendation for hiring.

Once the Cascade Wal-Mart opens at 1105 Research Center Drive in Atlanta, GA 30331, at least 300 employees are expected to be on the payroll.

For more information about recruitment for the new Cascade Wal-Mart, call the Adamsville Office of Workforce Development at 404-613-6381.  Regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
