Posted: Updated:

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of New Dynasty restaurant manager Tain "Andrew" Tian.

Deputies were called to 6131 South Tamiami Trail around 9:38 p.m. on July 14th, after customers found the 51-year-old lying unconscious in the driveway of a nearby business.

According to employees and witnesses, Tian followed three male customers outside the restaurant after they left without paying for dinner. A short time later, they heard tires squeal, but did not immediately find Tian and did not know he was injured.

Tian was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where he passed away on Friday from severe head injuries.

The suspects are described as three Hispanic males in their 20's with short hair, between 5'8" and 6' tall, 210 to 250 pounds. One has a pierced lip and eyebrow, and another has a rosary tattoo on his wrist and hand.

Crime Stoppers of Sarasota is offering a $3000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 941-366-TIPS.
