Separate crimes, similar problems

TAMPA (FOX 13) -

Suspects in two separate crimes this week are clearly seen on video footage where the crimes occurred, yet no arrests have been made.

Detectives, however, are confident that for both cases, someone out there knows something- and can help.

The first is a shooting at a Family Dollar store in Tampa on Sunday. Police say a man was caught on camera going into the store; they said it even looks like he's glaring at the camera.

The suspect walked into the store where shot and killed the store manager before taking off in a stolen car that was later found abandoned not far from the store.

In Manatee County, another suspect is on the loose after deputies say he kidnapped and sexually assaulted a five-year-old girl.

He is clearly seen on video from a convenience store where he took the girl to buy her candy. After leaving the store, he allegedly took her to a nearby mobile home park where he choked and sexually battered her.

The suspect is then seen on video again, attempting to get on a bus to Sarasota after the girl escaped-she can be seen in the distance on the bus video.

Residents nearby have said they've seen him around, but don't know his name.

"We want him, we want him bad," said Manatee Sheriff Brad Steube. "We're coming for you - we're hunting you."

The suspects in both these cases are still out there and deputies hope the someone will know something that can help bring them to justice.
