Zimmerman Trial Juror Speaks Out After Acquittal

Posted: Updated:

One of the jurors in the George Zimmerman trial is speaking out.

The woman, known as juror B-37, sat down Monday night with CNN's Anderson Cooper.

She told him that she believes it was Zimmerman's voice who could be heard yelling for help on a 9-1-1 recording.

Meanwhile, the Florida teen who was on the phone with Trayvon Martin just before he died is also talking about the trial.

Rachel Jeantel took the stand in the case. She spoke with Piers Morgan about her testimony and the jury itself.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder called Trayvon Martin's death "unnecessary."

Holder says he will go forward with a civil rights investigation following Zimmerman's acquittal. It's the first time the attorney general weighed in on the verdict.

Meanwhile, what started Monday as a peaceful protest over the Zimmerman verdict in Los Angeles turned into a violent scene.

According to the L.A.P.D., about 150 people broke off from a larger crowd, stopping traffic, spraying graffiti on buildings and throwing objects. Authorities say more than a dozen people have been arrested.

The mob also assaulted a few people.

The police chief says 300 officers were at the scene.
