Scientists have discovered a sweet way to track cancer.
Experts may be able to use chocolate and fizzy drinks to detect the disease.
They say malignant tumors feed off sugar and consume more glucose than healthy tissues.
The technique identifies the disease by tracking how sugar is absorbed by the body.
Doctors would look at the tumors through and MRI scanner.
They say this technique could be available in about 18 months.
