You can never be too young to show off your national pride, and that was on full display Thursday morning in St. Petersburg.
The community gathered for the annual 4th of July Children's Parade, hosted by the Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association.
The procession was led by authentic patriots in costume, and hundreds of children showed up to march through the street and wave their flags.
"They decked out their bikes and their wagons," said Jay Marshall, who helps to organize the event. "They're joining in the parade, which is led by the fire department and the fife and drum core."
The parade, which is in its 15th year, started at
Coffee Pot Park. You can click through our gallery of pictures.
