Breaking news in a criminal case involving Governor Tom Corbett's estranged son-in-law.

We've learned that Gerald Gibson has just turned himself into police.

Gibson is charged with theft, obstruction, tampering, receiving stolen property, failure to make required disposition of funds and theft by deception, sources say.

Gerald Gibson was a City Police Narcotics Officer when he was caught up in the drug sting.

It involved cash stuffed into a car he was ordered to take control of.

He's alleged to have taken some of the "marked" bills" and was allegedly found with some of the money in his possession.

The Governor's office had no comment on this matter.
