Hillsborough detectives are searching for three men who stormed into a bank, robbed it and fled in a stolen car.
Surveillance video shows the three suspects running into the PNC bank at 12951 N. Dale Mabry Highway in masks and waving guns.
The surveillance video is taken from multiple angles, and shows two men jumping the counter while one stays in the lobby and orders customers to the floor.
In a matter of minutes, the three men race out of the bank into their getaway car: a silver, four-door, 2002 Dodge Intrepid. Detectives found the car in the back of the Countrywood Apartments at 12101 N. Dale Mabry Highway, and discovered it had been stolen.
Detectives say all three suspects were black men age 18 to 25 years old, 5'10" to 6'0" feet tall, around 180 lbs, with thin builds. All three were wearing black covers over their heads and long sleeve white t-shirts.
One suspect wore dark pants; the second wore dark short, and the third wore green camouflage shorts, the sheriff's office said. They added that one of the suspects carried a black handgun with pink trim.
Anyone with information can call the sheriff;s office at 813-247-8200, or report it anonymously to Crimestoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477),
"Does seem to be planned out and executed pretty well," said Adam Clarke, a security expert with Critical Intervention Services.
Clarke reviewed the security video and said while it isn't Ocean's 11, it is more than the average stick-up.
"From the entry into the bank, two gentlemen went over the counter simultaneously, came back over simultaneously, all exited the bank. Looks like pretty good amount of planning in this," he said.
The bank was fairly busy at the time. The customers and employees all appear terrified, and stayed on the floor.
Clarke believes the bad guys had likely done surveillance ahead of time, planning exactly where each would go and how long it would take.
"That kind of concentrated effort, you can't do that unless you see the actual layout and floor plan of the bank," Clarke said. "Everyone knew where they were supposed to go, knew what supposed to do, they seemed to have a timeline in their head," he added.
Investigators only have a vague description of the suspects: black men ages 18-25 with thin builds. All were wearing similar outfits, including masks and gloves.
They came and left in a stolen Dodge Intrepid, which was found abandoned at the Countrywood Apartments not far from the crime scene. Deputies hope someone recognizes something from the video.
"The fact that you have three individuals go into bank in middle of the morning, that's very brazen," said Debbie Carter with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
