Most of the Bay Area will be celebrating America's birthday on Thursday this year. Here's a list of the remaining major celebrations throughout the area.
Tampa - Channelside Fireworks
Experience a thrilling Fourth of July Celebration that includes a front-row view of our spectacular fireworks show directed with music and launched off a barge in the Garrison Channel. The festivities can be seen from Channelside Bay Plaza as well as the Florida Aquarium, American Victory Ship, Yacht Starship, Cotanchobee Park, the Marriott Waterside, Harbor Island, and the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Tampa - Florida Aquarium
See dazzling displays in the sky and sea this July 4th at The Florida Aquarium! Get in for only $15 after 5:00p.m. and watch the fireworks over the channel. Fireworks will take place at 9 p.m. and we will extend our hours to 9:30 p.m. There will be fun, family-friendly entertainment, All-American themed dinner options and patriotic goodies available to purchase for the kids. We invite you to bring the whole family to soak up the fun and have a blast!

Tampa - Fireworks and Sunset Cruise Aboard Ecotour Boat
This Fourth of July, join us for a unique experience and the best seats in the house for the fireworks spectacular over the Channel from The Florida Aquarium's Ecotour boat! This 72-foot catamaran departs the Aquarium at 7:30pm for an intimate sunset cruise and returns to the Channel for the most amazing view of fireworks - boat side!

Tampa - American Victory Ship Mariners Museum

Tampa - Busch Gardens
Summer Nights lets guests celebrate the red, white and blue all day, and even after dark, all summer long with an energetic acrobatics show, live entertainment and much more. And test your courage as you take on Busch Gardens' world-class roller coasters in the dark, including Florida's first triple-launch coaster Cheetah Hunt®.
Plus, Busch Gardens lights up the sky during Summer Nights, including July Fourth, with an incredible nightly fireworks display. The best views are in Gwazi Park, right after the nightly Kinetix show, but the fireworks are visible from all over the park.

The city of St. Petersburg will celebrate the July 4th holiday with its annual fireworks display on Thursday, July 4. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m., weather permitting. They can start as early as 8:30 p.m. or as late as 10:00 p.m. due to impending weather conditions. The fireworks display will be visible all along the waterfront with prime viewing from Vinoy, Albert Whitted, and North Straub Parks.

St. Pete Beach - TradeWinds
TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach will use 975 colored towels to create a giant 13 star flag mosaic - the original Betsy Ross flag - along the beachfront behind the resort.
TradeWinds is also offering guests the opportunity to write a message to the troops by signing a giant banner, which will be set up on the beach adjacent to the flag. The banner will be delivered to the St. Petersburg-based 320th Military Police Company during a welcome home celebration planned for August.
The flag's construction will begin at 9 a.m. A photo opportunity with the TradeWinds' younger guests is at 10:00 a.m. Once created, the flag will stay on the beach until 1 p.m., weather permitting. Guests can sign the banner during this timeframe.
Come see one of the best firework shows in Pinellas County at Largo's 4th of July Celebration in Largo Central Park (101 Central Park Dr, Largo 33771). On Thursday, July 4 beginning at 6pm, friends and family can enjoy great food, entertainment and activities for all ages, followed by a spectacular fireworks show starting at approximately 9:15pm.

The self-proclaimed largest fireworks show in the Southeast will fire up at 9:30, after a concert featuring FOX 13's own John Wilson and his wife Mary Kay.
Event hours are from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Entertainment and music will be taking place on Treasure Island Beach in front of Sloppy Joe's 10650 Gulf Blvd, Treasure Island.
There will be Art and Craft Vendors along with Food Vendors and a Beer Truck. There will be activities for the kids as well.
The Music of "Horses Wild" will begin at 5:00 PM and will include a tribute to our Troops who fight for our Country in order that we may remain FREE. Special song, written by Michael Halo, "It's a Freedom Thing" will lead the Event into a breath taking display of Fireworks.

Lakeland - Flying Tigers, Baseball & Fireworks
The Lakeland Flying Tigers will host the 4th of July Independence Day Celebration at Joker Marchant Stadium on Thursday, July 4.
The Flying Tigers will take on the Tampa Yankees in a Florida State League north-division match-up. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and the gates to Marchant Stadium will open at 4:00 p.m. During the game the Flying Tigers will have holiday picnic themed games, contests, music and fun. The team will be wearing special patriotic red, white and blue jerseys. There will also be live music and entertainment following the game by the Sofa Kings.
The dueling fireworks spectacular will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. There will be two amazing fireworks displays skyrocketing at the same time choreographed to patriotic music. The shows are sponsored by The City of Lakeland, The Ledger Media Group and Miller Lite and will be displayed by Fireworks Displays Unlimited.
Dade City - Pasco Sparklebration
Sparklebration, the annual celebration of our country's independence, will be hosted by the non-profit Pasco County Fair Association, Inc., Thursday, July 4th, at the Pasco County Fairgrounds on State Road 52 in Dade City. Gates will open at noon with a Babies R' Red, White & Blue pageant (children 5 and under) scheduled for 12:30 pm. Local entertainment, children's games, watermelon and hot dog eating contests as well as a watermelon seed-spitting contest are also scheduled throughout the afternoon. The Bloodnet USA Bloodmobile will also be on the grounds.
Most entertainment is free with gate admission to Sparklebration. A large extravagant fireworks show by Zambelli Fireworks will begin about 9:15 p.m. Admission to Sparklebration is $5 for persons 13 and older. Parking is $5 per car. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome but no alcohol, pets, personal coolers, fireworks or food will be permitted to be brought into the fairgrounds.

Sarasota - Bayfront Fireworks Spectacular
Relax and unwind at the annual Sarasota Bayfront Fireworks Spectacular in Island Park on Thursday, July 4th 2013. The show will begin at 9PM and is the regions largest pyrotechnic show. Fireworks over Siesta Key can be viewed from the Gulf, Intercoastal and in particular south Siesta Beach. July 4, 2013 @ 9:15PM - 10:00PM.
