A leaky package emptied the Ybor City post office this morning.
According to Tampa Fire Rescue, the package in question was leaking some sort of liquid, so it was isolated outside while experts figured out what it was.
The worker who brought the package to the facility was being decontaminated, and after officials arrived on scene, as many as 15 people complained of mild irritation.
As of 2 p.m., officials had determined the liquid was concentrated eucalyptus oil, which can cause skin irritation and sometimes asthma-like symptoms.
After learning what the substance was, the exposed employees declined to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
