Bucs players help youth team after fire

The future of a youth football team in Tampa was in jeopardy after thieves took their equipment and burnt down their field house.

But, thanks to the Tampa Bay Bucs, they're ready to gear up.

The Lion's uniforms, practice equipment and tackle dummies were all inside a shed that was ransacked and set on fire.

Tampa police have called the fire arson.

Thursday Bucs players and cheerleader's stopped by the team's practice with a surprise.

A big check for 15-thousand dollars,.

It will help them pay for new jerseys, shoulder pads, pants and of course, helmets.

An added bonus, the players stuck around after making the donation to play ball with the youngsters.
