ATLANTA -

Due to a power outage, all northbound MARTA trains briefly ended service at the MARTA Arts Center Station in the Midtown area.

A MARTA spokesperson said a lightning strike could have caused the power outage at the Lindbergh MARTA station.

Service resumed about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday

A large system of rain soaked the morning rush-hour commute from Alpharetta to Atlanta during the 8 o'clock hour Wednesday.
