The Towamencin Township Police Department is investigating a reported phone scam.
Information released suggests that the caller identified himself as a U.S. Drug Enforcement Agent investigating illegal online pharmaceutical purchases.
He informed the victim that she was being investigated for illegal Internet purchases.
The caller demanded the victim submit a fine in order to avoid being arrested physically.
She hung up and notified police of the call.

Cherry Hill Police are looking for your help tonight in identifying a woman who nearly bit the finger off of another women during a parking dispute in the lot of the Cherry Hill Mall.
A Philadelphia Police Officer has been placed on administrative duty after he drew a pistol and shot a man on the 6400 block of Oakley St. It happened just before noon on Saturday.
