Chaos unfolded outside a shoe store in Little Five Points after two gunmen opened fire on someone witnesses say was a would-be robber.  That person was killed, and he left behind many questions.  

Stunning surveillance video shows a man opening fire along Moreland Avenue, another man running for his life, and a third man putting down his gun for police and allegedly admitting to the shooting.  It all adds up to a case that seems to get more bizarre by the day.  

The incident started with shoes.  On Saturday morning, group of about 30 people camped outside of Wish, a Little Five Points shoe store.  They were hoping to buy the latest LeBron James Nike sneaker, the Nike LeBron X EXT.  

Witnesses say that around 5:30 a.m., a man approached the group, pulled out a gun and demanded cash.  The video shows commotion that comes from attempted robbery, but it doesn't show a man in a white shirt—who has been identified by police as Marvin Jones-- pulling a gun on the robber.

The police report says Jones shot the robber, 36-year-old Sandy Ezzard, and the video shows Ezzard trying to run away.  He ultimately collapsed and died a few feet outside of the camera's range.

When police arrived, Jones—a licensed gun owner—handed his weapon over to officers, and according to the police report, told them he killed Ezzard.

Before seeing the surveillance video, police did not know that a man in red also opened fire.  After the shooting, he appears to be picking something up off the ground.  FOX 5's Chris Shaw asked police if those were shell casings, and whether or not the man left the scene of the shooting— as it appears in the video.  Police are not commenting, however, except to say that they're still investigating.

Adding to the confusion, none of the witnesses Shaw spoke with even mentioned the shooter in red.
