20 year old Allan Stinson's car looks like its in a world of hurt, and he's not doing much better. He's been locked up.
"Thankfully this Sunday morning we have a violent and dangers individual off the streets," said Larry McKinnon, with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the career criminal robbed the Steak and Shake on Brandon Boulevard with a loaded gun around 7 Sunday morning. Alina Triplett works nearby.
"It is scary it could've happened to any of us," Triplett said.
According to deputies as Stinson tried to make his getaway he was spotted by patrol. When they tried pulling him over, officials say he pointed his gun at them, and peeled off.
"Became a very dangerous situation not only because of the pursuit but because he was waving handgun pointing it at deputies," McKinnon said.
The helicopter was called in to help track Stinson. He eventually lost control and crashed on State Road 60 ,but it didn't end there. Deputies say he got out and still tried running.
"To his surprise he was met by several deputies was tackled here in the mud," McKinnon said.
He's heading off to jail, a place he's familiar with, he just got out of prison in March. Besides the Steak and Shake, officials believe he also robbed a Hungry Howies overnight. They say, if he wasn't caught he'd keep on breaking the law.
"What if it was my friend working there, what if I was in that position its scary," said Triplett.
