Sun, sand, surf -- who wouldn't want to retire here?

It's no wonder so many seniors live in Florida.  And according to new census data, there are more people over age 65 in Florida than any other state.

Apparently, they love Sumter County.  More than half the population there is over 65 -- that's the highest county rate in the country.

Sumter is about 40 miles northwest of Orlando and includes The Villages, a fast-growing retirement community.

Charlotte County is also a senior draw.  More than one-third of the people there are over 65.
