NJ Transit Plans Free Internet For Passengers

Your morning commute may get more Internet-friendly.

New Jersey transit plans to offer free wi-fi on trains.

The agency's board will vote tomorrow on an agreement to provide free wireless access on trains and at stations.

Cablevision will provide the equipment and New Jersey transit will gain dedicated use of fiber optic, copper and wireless transmission lines at no cost.
