LOGANVILLE, Ga. -

Two local players were top 10 selections in Thursday's Major League Baseball Draft.

Loganville's Clint Frazier was the fifth overall selection, taken by the Cleveland Indians.

The Loganville High School Baseball community gathered at Johnny's Pizza on Atlanta Highway to see their native son drafted.

Frazier, who was in New York for the occasion, said hearing his name called was a relief and it's time to get to work.

The Pittsburgh Pirates selected Grayson's Austin Meadows as the 9th overall pick.

Meadows watched the draft at home with his family.
