Four people have been arrested in a five-month long crackdown on synthetic drugs in Pasco County.
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi joined Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco on Tuesday morning to announce the arrests.
"Please take a close look at this," Bondi said as she held up a package of synthetic marijuana. "This isn't meant for children. This isn't meant for anyone. These are drugs and are very lethal."
Deputies say undercover detectives were able to purchase various synthetic marijuana products during the operation, including Platinum, AK47, Insane, LOL, Bomb Marley, California Dreams and Mad Hatter.
They were tested and found to contain the now-illegal substance XLR11. The drugs were found at three locations in the county.

-- MOBIL - 7011 Massachusetts Ave, New Port Richey
-- BOOST MOBILE - 3448 Grand Blvd, Holiday
One detective said they've taken away dozens and dozens of packets of synthetic drugs from the locations, and the sheriff's office expects more arrests this week.
"They're still selling it as we speak, which is why we're here serving search warrants," one detective said.
