Gators are a common sight in Florida. It's legal to farm and hunt them for meat and skin and the Department of Agriculture wants to get the word out to potential customers around the world.
That's why lawmakers approved a specific appropriation of $100,000 for Alligator marketing in this year's budget, money that comes from the General Inspection Trust Fund. Is that a good spend of tax dollars?
