Rescued cats now in Tampa

Posted: Updated:
TAMPA (FOX 13) -

Six exotic cats rescued from Kansas are now in the Bay area.

The three bobcats are at the Big Bat Sanctuary in Tampa.

They were among the 11 animals found on a rural Kansas farm, living in filthy, inadequate cages with little food or water.

The owner of the cats is facing dozens of charges.

He turned the animals over to the Humane Society, which has been moving them to sanctuaries around the country.
