Are today's teens lazy?

Posted: Updated:

Are today's teens lazy? A new study says yes. The study says teens are more materialistic and less interested in work than baby boomers because of the way boomers' parents raised them!

According to the Daily Mail, Dr. Jean Twenge, co-author of the study, told Today.com that "you're taught what's important and how to act by your parents, the media and those around you."

The report says 25 percent of 1970s high-schoolers were in the didn't want to work hard category, in the late 80s it was 30 percent and by the early 21st century, 39 percent.
