Strawberry lovers aren't the only ones who have their own festival in
Plant City. This weekend, Keel and Curley Winery is holding its annual
The blueberry is becoming a very popular berry. In the last 15 years, blueberry sales have tripled.
People began eating more of them after researchers discovered that blueberries are full of anti-oxidants. Keel and Curley is riding the wave of blue popularity. The business started as a mom-and-pop wine-making operation.
"My father started making it in his kitchen, with blueberries grown right here on the property, and it has grown from there," Clay Keel told FOX 13 News.
You can now find Keel and Curley wines in Publix and Walmart. This weekend's celebration will be Saturday and Sunday at the Winery. Admission is free; parking is $5.
