RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

Police in Radnor hope newly released video will lead them to the suspect who they say carjacked a family near a Main Line business.

The carjacking happened late Monday night just outside the Micro Center on the 500 block of East Lancaster Avenue.

According to police, two parents and their 8-month-old son were forced into their car and taken for a short drive before being released. The suspect took wallets, cell phones and all of the family's computer equipment, police said.

Police say the man then left in a white Toyota Avalon.

The family was not physically harmed.

"When someone is willing to display a handgun and remove it from his waistband while he's driving an automobile with an 8-month-old child, we're definitely concerned it seemed like he knew what he was doing," Radnor police Lt. Chris Flanagan said.

In a Tuesday evening news conference, police released video that shows the man they believe to be the suspect in the carjacking. The video captured the beginning of the drive across Lancaster Avenue to another parking lot, where police say the carjacker stopped and got out of the car.

The suspect was seen wearing a navy blue hoodie, work gloves, white sneakers and silver framed sunglasses.

Officials in Radnor Township say they are offering a $2,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

If you recognize the suspect, you're asked to call the Radnor Township Police Department at 610-688-5606.
