ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) -

A 22-year-old active duty airman stationed at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa made her first appearance before a judge in Pinellas County Sunday morning.

Rashida G. Williams was ordered held without bond on one count of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of her boyfriend. Wayne Charles-Marion Drummer died early Saturday morning.

According to a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office report the incident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the Coves of Brighton Bay Apartment complex in St. Petersburg.

Investigators say Drummer, 23, and Williams got into an argument about money. The verbal dispute turned physical when the suspect grabbed a knife from the kitchen and plunged into the victim's chest.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives say Drummer had moved in with Williams about a week ago. He had previously lived near Chicago, Illinois.

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies found the alleged murder weapon in the sink. Investigators with MacDill will conduct their own follow-up probe the report states.
