Manatee school on lockdown after man fires gun in the air
BRADENTON (FOX 13) -
A Manatee County middle school went on lockdown Friday after someone fired a gun in the air on school grounds, authorities said.
It happened at Johnson Middle School in Bradenton.
The lockdown is lifted and kids have all gone home for the day.
Witnesses say the two men were on the grounds of Johnson Middle School just after 3 p.m. when one of them fired a gun in the air.
The two fled the scene and the school went on lockdown.
Deputies are looking for the two men. They are described as two black males, possibly teenagers, one wearing all black and one wearing all white. The suspects were seen on one bicycle prior to the shooting.
