Long lines greeted drivers at the Department of Driver Services office in Norcross on Wednesday following a computer outage at all of the DDS locations on Tuesday.
Many of the drivers arrived early in the morning to get a jump on obtaining their license following Tuesday's computer glitch.The DDS says the computer system is working on Wednesday, but the backlog from Tuesday's outage created longer than usual wait times at DDS offices.
Some customers tell FOX 5 that they were told the wait time would be about 45 minutes, but that it took an average of 90 minutes to complete the process of getting a license.Georgia's DDS blamed Tuesday's issue on their vendor. That incident was the second time in nearly a month that the department's computers have gone down due to a problem.
