Philadelphia police are investigating two separate deadly shootings that occurred in sections of North Philadelphia over the weekend.

According to police, a 36-year-old man was found shot multiple times around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night in the area of the 700 block of West Venango Street. Officers say the man was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly later.

A second victim, a 42-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital after being shot in the foot, police said. The second victim was reported to be in stable condition.

Police say they are investigating another fatal shooting that was reported Sunday morning in the area of the 3200 block of North Bailey Street. In that shooting, police say a woman in her early 20s was found unresponsive. Police believe she was shot at least once.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
